Three Cosplay Model's I Have

Okay so I would like to give thanks to all the amazing cosplay models that have helped me with so much throughout my cosplaying years!

These people that I am about to share with you have been in my life ever since I started cosplaying way back then. These are the people I fell in love with because they were too perfect with everything they do. These people are still inspiring me to push further with what I got and reach for something that I can do my best at.

Tealpirate/JenxtheJinx A.K.A. Jen!(there is two links in the name)

Jen has been there really from the start. She is totally amazing and such a sweet heart. And to be totally honest I found her by mistake. But this mistake was such a good one that I don't even mind! If you have a question on anything she will do her best to help out and give you as much detailed information as you possibly need. This also goes for her amazing girlfriend, Kelly! They both work super duper well and man such a great team. I've talked to both of them on multiple accounts and they are such a joy and just completely help me with getting through some cosplays. I love them dearly and I wish I could just say more!

Her and all her friends make everything and it's just crazy how great they all are! These are only a few cosplays she does and ahhh I don't know. I fanboy over them way too much.

Alright, so I thought of a thing to share with you all. A few websites that I use to get cosplay!
Cool so I'll start!
First off Ebay, because you can find some good deals on some things. More so wigs and accessories.
Normally the wigs I get are free shipping and $20 or below so I can't complain with that. And most of the wigs I get are pretty darn good quality. Though there are a few that can be a bad advertisement. And trust me, I have what 20+ wigs and only 3 of them were really bad.
As for accessories you can find a few good things. I don't really buy them unless it is a must need for a cosplay. But other then that I don't. Though the ones I have gotten are pretty good. Good quality, size and shape of what the character needs.
But for cosplay costumes I wouldn't buy anything of that sort from Ebay. Maybe it's good for some people but for me I can'y because everything is way too big and I can't have that. I already made the mistake about it with my Sora cosplay. Got a mens size and yeah..

So far from these are a few wigs I got them on here. Both amazing quality and still going strong!

Cosplaying Babies/Toddlers?!

That is right! Babies and toddlers can cosplay! Anyone can! 

But have you ever seen a baby/toddler cosplay? And I don't mean for Halloween. I mean like actually at a convention and cosplaying(of course with the help of their parents). 

If you haven't you must see how cute they are!!

Gamzee and Kurloz Horn Tutorial

Step 1:
Get a 4 oz. bag of Model Magic. You could use whatever kind of clay you wish, I just use Model Magic since it is a lightweight foam like clay that is easy to mold and has no mess! One pack of it shall be enough to make two horns.

Step 2: 

Once getting the package opened you'll get a good sized square of Model Magic. So on it there should be a line that goes through the middle of the clay due to the packaging. You need is to cut the square down the line that is in the clay, this will be what you will use for the horns. Once in half make into a ball the size of your palm or a little bigger. Smooth them out once you have them to your liking.

Top Five Cosplayed Characters/Fandoms

Well I was told I should give what I think are the top five cosplayed characters out at the conventions I go too.

So from the few conventions I go too I've got it down to five character/amine/games/movies/comics that have been cosplayed more then anything(this is in no order).
Alright let us start!!

1) Assassin's Creed

Sakura-Con 2012 Assassin's Creed 

To me seeing all the Assassin Creed cosplayers is freaking amazing! And knowing most of them is even better. They taught themselves parkour to be more like the character they are representing and shoot dang it is great. But in all I see them around a lot and not just at conventions. My friends will even come over to just hang out in their Assassin Creed gear. They to me are probably number three in my most cosplayed book.

But like really come on Assassin's Creed cosplayers are pretty darn great. More so the ones such as this man who made this video for Comic Con San Diego in 2013. Yes I know it's not one of the conventions I go too but I couldn't find any videos of the photo shoot where most of the cosplayers were doing parkour. So you are going to have this video instead.

2) Hetalia

Hetalia has had a big come back for some reason it seems. Back when I cosplayed Germany it was crazy. For me it was like how Homestuck is now, which is kind of saying something because that fandom is fucking crazy big now(which we will talk about after this). But after 2011 it seemed to have died down and in 2013 it picked back up. There have been more and more Hetalia cosplayers out and about in the conventions I go to and it kind of makes me happy because I'll be joining that fandom once again but as Hungary. 

But with that picture not doing as much justice as it should I have another video that will kind of show you more of how big it was back then. I sadly do not have pictures or videos of the fandom that is caught up today. But I'm sure once I get my new cosplay and join them all once again I'll be getting more pictures of how big it has gotten.

My sister took the video but you could see how many people at that photo shoot. But I say Hetalia is number four in my most cosplayed book. 

How does one start to cosplay or even think to do that?

People ask me how can one start to cosplay or get into that kind of group. Well it's kind of easy in a way. Anyone can do it really, as long as you have a parent or guardian for the kiddies out there. But I've seen people as old as 90 years old still cosplaying and having a good time.

Okay but in all seriousness cosplaying is really fun and the community of it is actually really great. But I know a lot of people who are younger then me, or even close to my age have troubles with trying to start. They ask me on deviantART about how cosplay works and how they could start doing it. They ask how fun it is as well as how scary. With that I just tell them that it's a ton of fun and for me personally it is like an escape to a whole new world. Where you can be a different person and just have fun with it.

Sure there are the fun parts of cosplay but like everything else in the world there is the bad. I try to stay out of the bad and just not associate with the ones who think they know everything about cosplay and that all cosplay needs to be perfect and exactly like the character it isn't even funny. Sure I'm a perfectionist and like the outfit to be close to what they wear, but I don't go flaunting it around saying I know everything. Like Yaya Han(we will get into that topic another time).

Five questions I get asked a lot

Alright so I haven't done too much on here but on my other blogs/websites I always get questions asking if I will be cosplaying a character that everyone does or just a character in general.

Well I feel like I should reply on here about those questions.
Alright here we go.

Question 1: You say you are short, have you ever thought of cosplaying Levi?


Yes I have planned on doing that character. I have most of the things ready for him except for the shirt and my hair length. I'm waiting to grow out the top of my hair a bit more so I can actually do that cosplay. I was dumb enough to cut it because I was bored with it and I am upset with it. But my hair grows pretty fast so I'm not too worried about it.

Question 2: Why wont you cosplay female characters?

Well to be honest I really don't like a lot of the female characters in animes or games. Though there are a few that I have thought and are planning on cosplaying. Such as Ponyo from Ponyo, Elizabeth(Lizzy) from Black Butler--even though she has low respect points for me--, Doll from Black Butler, Madame Red from Black Butler, Hungary  from Hetalia, the Witch from Left 4 Dead, Nurse from Silent Hill, and Mey-Rin from Black Butler.

Plus I cosplay Rapunzel from Tangled so I have already started this...kind of. Still sticking with male characters.

Question 3: You should cosplay from Legend of Zelda/Are you working on any Legend of Zelda cosplay?

Okay first one, I have been wanting to so badly! I haven't really gotten the time to do it since I'm caught up in a lot of other projects with cosplay.
But to the second one, I have gotten a Fem!Tael done but haven't gotten to wear it yet as I would like to get a Tatl and make the right outfit for Tael. But I'm trying to work on Skull Kid from Majora's Mask because he is great and I love him. Other than that I am trying to also get together Dark/Shadow Link and Twilight Princess Link done. But that wont happen for awhile sadly.

The new coat of Ciel Phantomhive

So for SakuraCon 2014 my mother and I rushed last minute to get a new jacket done for my Ciel cosplay.
And with only two days before leaving for the convention we got it done. Though we fixed a few things that needed to be fixed in the hotel.

So yes the tailcoat part of it should be a lot longer then it is but that is all okay with me! It is easier to walk and not trip over it, even though if it was the length it was supposed to be wouldn't be hitting the ground. I'm just clumsy like that.
But yes this was started and finished in only two days before con. That is some crazy good skills if I must say. My mother was a great help to it and helped with trying to get it the right length.
She had a lot of ideas for it and a lot of it can show in the coat. It's a comfortable fit and the only one I have seen at the conventions I go too, or at least.

New cosplay ideas

So as Sakura-Con is over and done with and I get to work on new cosplays! Whoop whoop!!
Well now that I get too my mother and I have been looking into the artworks of Yana Toboso(creator of Black Butler). We were trying to see which Ciel Phantomhive outfits haven't been done/warn to anime conventions near us.
See I like to not have the same outfit as other people who cosplay the same character. Yes that may seem selfish or whatever but I just like to have that moment of when people come up to me saying they have never seen anyone cosplaying that outfit. Hence why I cosplay the choir boy Ciel. No Ciel at the conventions I go to has worn that outfit.
But don't get me wrong I like to see all the other Ciel cosplayers and their outfits and how they did. Everyone does amazing with him and with that I just wish to be one of the amazing ones, or at least try.

Anyways, my mother and I found a few outfits that we will be tackling down to get done for future conventions!

First one that we are just starting on is this lovely one.

Well we started with muslin first to make sure everything is going according to the plan. But so far it is coming out amazing! I can't wait for the final product and of course I'll be updating when it gets to that part.

But the next one is this lovely outfit!

I'm excited about this one as well. This will be fun because of the long blue train I'll be having for him. And come one that outfit is beautiful! Just all the lovely shades of blue~ We haven't started on that one yet as I said we are working on the one above at the moment. But this one will be next!

We discussed this one a bit but my girlfriend who cosplays my Sebastian Michaelis wants to do this one a lot because this ark is amazing and we both can't get over it. Also within the same ark I am working on Doll who is a tightrope walker and really dang awesome.

But for the next is another one that we just talked about and are thinking of doing it much later. But it is still beautiful and can't wait to do this one as well. Just all of them I can't wait to do really. They will be amazing just too much fun.


Though some of these will take time and I'm getting ahead of myself, but I wanted to post this to get it out there and share with you all~
